Film photography interview with Melvin Mapa

For anybody who may be interested, I recently did an interview with Melvin Mapa about my love of film photography.

Here is a link to the interview:

There are also some interviews with other film photographers on this website which are definitely worth checking out.

  1. Nice interview and some great photos. I was especially impressed with the vibrant colours and composition of the first photo, taken from inside a (classic?) car. Do you remember what film you used?
I tried doing a daily journal of photographs but I bored myself. I think I need a more exciting life. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thanks Marcus ๐Ÿ˜Š I took that photo whilst sitting in my friendโ€™s 1966 Mustang. We were just off to a classic car show. The photo was taken on my Olympus Pen FT half frame camera and I used the Cinestill 50 daylight film as I wanted to try and achieve a classic film look since I knew I would be taking photos of classic cars ๐Ÿ‘
